CommentsHello There Mr.Cinar
i must tell you that i'm completely surprised by your works .. especially Karabasan i saw all of your works .. i liked the justice fist concept it's old school as you said it .. and it's soo much Jack Kirby's style about Karabsan .. i don't know what are you planning on doing with it .. since there's no story .. But i hope that you'll Add some Hints of Ottmanic style i'm Arabian but my heart was always with the Ottmani empire i just hope to see some character holding the meaning of being Ottmanic Turkish ^^ by the way .. PLEASE don't use the green eyes to karabsan .. Todd McFrlane's Spawn has it .. you don't wanna look like a Mimic Artist All the time it's time to get your material from you enviorment .. and trust me .. you only need to look around you and you'll find it brother Respect and salam Alykum Hello.Thanks for all your suggestions.
Karabasan had a 4 issue mini series published here in Turkey in 2003.There are also some short stories in several comic book magazines and fanzines.There are also plans for new stories in the future. And no, his eyes are not green.they are yellow. Glad to have your feed Back mr.Cinar ^^
Well .. i'm Glad to know that Karabasan hit the road in 2003 .. which makes me feel surprised i didn't know that the Comics industry in Turky have it's own share and it makes me feel sad for us Arabian .. you know these days i'm doing this revolution to introduce the Comics to My People .. and I hope it will work somehow ^^ anyways ... i'm so proud of you since you made it at image's company .. i wonder if you can meet Marc Silvestri .. God I Love his character " The Darkness " anyways .. i don't wanna bother you more brother .. Glad that you didn't use green eyes for Karabasan ^^ and I Hope to see a Character Based on ottman Turkish Myths ^^ and i wish you could tell me where i can find any Free Comics By you on the internet .. Respect and Salam Alykum ^^ Thanks again for your nice words.Karabasan's story is based on Anatolian and Turkish myths.We couldn't have much chance to show people much but I'm sure one day we're going to hit the stands again with more quality and better stories. I hope you can read it someday.
I love Silvestri's work too;especially his Uncanny X-Men stuff.Sadly I couldn't have a chance to meet him personally. You can check some story previews at imagecomics.com. Thanks a lot! Hello Again Mr.Cinar
Eid Mubarak At First .. i'm sorry to bother you again after our chit chat but i'm here to congratulate you for your work on Noble Causes .. i didn't read the whole series .. it's just my causin was in UK at that time i asked him to get me some comics .. and shake the whole kingdom just to get me noble causes ... and i got Noble Causes issue 35 ... All I Can Say my Friend .. Wow .. you really Got Talent ... i mean by my standerds you're a one Talented guy .. i liked the part .. i'm not so sure about the Page number .. it's the part where the lady with the glasses stab a man in his neck .. the way you drew it .. it reminded me of the japanese manga style .. you know the panels and how it seprated to triangles .. anyways ... see you later brother .. sorry for bothering you ... and oh .. before i go ... i need a little favor to ask .. you see i'm doing a comic revolution in a forum .. and everything is paying off people started to notice the comic .. but i have a small problem in here i'm a Comic Geek .. but i'm more into Superheros Gener ... so they have that stereotype idea that comics only about superheros ... so could you help me by telling about comics with great storyline and graphics with no superhero thing you'll be saving my neck for Real ^^ sorry again .. and see you later Salam Hello;
I'm really glad you had a chance to pick up Noble Causes.And thanks for your kind words.I really appreciate that. I can recommend Sin City and recently The Criminal series. Other than that if you'd like to read comics out of super-hero genre, you can try italian and some french based comics.There are really some good stuff and masterpieces there. Take care! -y- |
